SWIMMING
Swimming at Auckland Grammar School consists of an internal annual School Swimming Sports (open to all students) and a competitive interschool season for competitive swimmers. The School’s top swimmers compete annually in the New Zealand Secondary School National Championships, run by Swimming New Zealand.
The School Swimming Sports were historically held off-campus, but have been held in the new outdoor pool since 2023.

Event entry fees for interschool competitors – various (likely $15-20 per meet)

Travel, accommodation, and entry fees for Nationals – costs vary depending on event location and details
Open to all students - Swimming training on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7.00am is designed to focus on athlete fitness for water polo and multisport training. Those students who can competently swim and who wish to join for fitness are also welcome. Some stroke correction is offered.
Elite athletes with individual programs or, on a recovery program are most welcome to join by arrangement.
