Introduction

Table Tennis has a proud place within the sporting programme at Auckland Grammar School, providing students with the opportunity to develop their skills, compete at a high level and represent the School with distinction.

The Table Tennis Team plays every Friday after school, with players also training throughout the week in preparation for competition. Teams are graded from A to D, providing opportunities for players of different abilities, while social teams are available for students who wish to enjoy the sport in a more casual setting.

The top Auckland Grammar teams are highly competitive and consistently perform with distinction at regional and national secondary school events. Their performances showcase the speed, precision, concentration and tactical skill required to succeed at the highest level.

There are also opportunities for students to compete in Auckland competitions throughout the year. These competitions are not School representation events. Students interested in participating should see the MIC for further information.
