TABLE TENNIS

Introduction

At Auckland Grammar School, the Table Tennis Team play every Friday after school and practice throughout the week. Teams are graded from A to D, and there are social teams available for casual players.

The top Auckland Grammar teams are very competitive and always put on a show at the regional and national events.

Terms played

Terms 1, 2 and 3. Registrations open start of Term 1.

There is also opportunities to compete in Auckland competitions throughout the year. However you will not be representing the school, please see MIC for more information

Game days

Fridays afternoons:

First Session: 3.45 pm - 6.00 pm
Second Session: 6.00 pm - 8.15 pm

Costs

School Polo - purchased from School Shop

Entry fee costs are approximately $40 per player per term – once a team is officially registered, the players are liable for this cost.

Premier Teams - $150 for the season

Equipment

Students must have their own bat, ball(s), Tidy Black or Blue shorts, Non-marking shoes must be worn. A school tracksuit can be worn during warm-ups, but is to be removed once the match commences.

Mr Lee. Students are able to speak to him in the Mathematics department during the School day or contact him via email.
