The Alexandra United Football Club (AUFC) was established in the 1980s and is home to players aged 4 to 18 years. Our aim is to foster, develop and promote the game of football for the recreation and enjoyment of the communities in which we play. Our players and biggest supporters hail from the communities of Alexandra, Clyde, Roxburgh, and Omakau, and our fan base is far and wide.
Our teams play in the Central Otago Junior league. The U9 to U13 teams travel to the same town each week, alternating game days between Alexandra, Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown.
Our U6 and U7 teams play on Sunday rotating between Alexandra, Cromwell, Queenstown and Omakau for 2025.
U8 can choose to play internal (as above) or play in the U9 grade, on a travelling rotation with other clubs in the league.
Youth - U17 play on Saturdays in a home and away draw format.
