Allstars Netball Code of Conduct
Allstars is committed to providing a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all players, coaches, parents, caregivers, and volunteers. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations of behaviour for everyone involved with the club.
Players are expected to:
Show respect to court officials, coaches, teammates, and opposition at all times.
Play fairly and uphold the rules and spirit of netball.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship and maintain a positive attitude on and off the court.
Attend trainings and games as required and communicate absences when necessary.
Take responsibility for your own personal belongings.
Wear the full Allstars Netball Club uniform to all games.
Care for their uniform, club equipment, and all venues used for training and games.
Coaches, officials, and management staff are expected to:
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all players.
Act as positive role models both on and off the court.
Treat all players fairly, equally, and with respect.
Communicate clearly and consistently with players, parents, and the club committee.
Uphold the rules and spirit of netball at all times.
Parents and caregivers are expected to:
Support and encourage all players in a positive manner.
Respect umpires, officials, coaches, and management staff.
Avoid publicly questioning decisions made during games.
Raise concerns respectfully with the coach or club committee, not during games or on social media.
Support and follow the club’s rules, policies, and this Code of Conduct.
All members of the club are expected to:
Promote a safe environment for players at trainings and games.
Report injuries, safety concerns, or inappropriate behaviour to a coach or committee member.
Respect the physical and emotional wellbeing of all players, families.
All members of the Allstars Netball community are expected to:
Use social media responsibly and communicate in a positive manner.
Respect the privacy of players, families, and club members.
Avoid posting inappropriate, abusive, or negative content related to the club.
If this Code of Conduct is not followed, Allstars Netball Club will apply a fair and appropriate process which may include:
The issue is addressed respectfully with the player and/or parent, providing guidance and support to resolve the behaviour early.
A verbal warning is issued if behaviour continues, clearly explaining expectations and potential consequences.
A formal written warning is provided detailing the breach, previous steps taken, and the expected behaviour moving forward.
The player may be temporarily restricted from training or games, with conditions and duration communicated to parents or caregivers.
The committee reviews repeated or serious breaches and may set further conditions or actions to ensure compliance.
In serious cases, participation may be reviewed, with decisions prioritising the safety and wellbeing of all members.
