Autumn Series


AMDG Members Series

The AMDG Members Series will run from September to December as the Spring Series and February to May as the Autumn series and will include all AMDG Series Shows but does not include the AMDG Regional Championships - The Festival of Dressage.

Eligibility

Open to all Financial Members of the Auckland Manukau Dressage Group.  Points counted from the date of payment of membership received.  The Members Series incoporates Graded Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Adavanced, Amateur Level 1, Amateur Level 2 and Para.

An Amateur Level 1 rider is a rider of category CN-C2 on a Level 1 horse.  An Amateur Level 2 rider is a rider of Category CN-C3 on a Level 1 or 2 horse.  A Para is a rider who holds either a full or provisional ESNZ Para Classification.

Members Series Prizes

AMDG Trophies are presented to the winner of each level at the Spring Prizegiving and the Autumn Prizegiving.  See trophy list below.

Points System

Points are allocated to the top 10 rider and horse/ pony combinations in each class at each level as long as the score is over 57%.  With 1st = 10, 2nd = 9 points and 10th = 1 point.

No points are allocated to scores under 57%  

Points awarded from the date a member becomes financial for the season.

The Dunstan Horse Feeds Spring Series

The Dunstan Spring Series will run from September to December, and includes the 4 Spring series days.

Eligibility

Open to all rider & horse/ pony combinations eligible to ride in their level.  There will be a Dunstan Spring Series for each of the following levels:Non-Graded -  Level 1, Level 2Graded - Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Advanced and Para all grades combined, Amateur Level 1, Amateur Level 2.  

An Amateur Level 1 rider is a rider of category CN-C2 on a Level 1 horse.  An Amateur Level 2 rider is a rider of Category CN-C3 on a Level 1 or 2 horse.  A Para is a rider who holds either a full or provisional ESNZ Para Classification.

Dunstan Horse Feeds Prizes

The overall series winner in each level will receive a Dunstan Horse Feeds sash.

Points System

Points are allocated to the top 10 rider and horse/ pony combinations in each class at each level as long as the score is over 57%.  With 1st = 10, 2nd = 9 points and 10th = 1 point.  No points are allocated to scores under 57%  

Conditions

  1. Combinations (rider & horse/ pony) may contest more than one level but may only win a sash in one level (Rider to nominate which level they prefer at the December show).

  2. If the horse/ pony is ridden by more than one rider during the spring the points will be counted under each rider (not combined).  Points will be counted under each Rider & Horse/ pony combination.  

  3. In level 1 and 2 points are awarded to the open & amateur results.  In the event of split classes in a level (eg Class 1a and 1b) points will be awarded to both classes.

  4. If the rider & horse/ pony combination contest more than one level during the spring, points will accrue in the level in which they are earned.

  5. In the event of a tie for the winner in each level there will be a countback. Firstly the combination that contested the most shows (at any level) will be the winner. If there is still equality the combination with the highest number of wins within the level will be the winner. If there is still a tie the combination with the most points totalled (at the level) will be the winner.

  6. Prizegiving will be held at the completion of the spring series in December. Mounted or unmounted in formal riding attire. Prizewinners must be present to collect sashes.  Photos will be taken for publicity and for the sponsor.  No shows will result in forfeiture of prize unless a stand in nomination has been notified to the show secretary. This means you must find someone else to stand in for you at the prizegiving and notify this to the secretary at the front desk at the show (in writing). Autumn Series

The Autumn Series will run from February to June, and includes the 3 Autumn series days.

Eligibility

Open to all rider & horse/ pony combinations eligible to ride in their level.  There will be a All Hours Tyres Autumn Series for each of the following levels:

Non-Graded -  Level 1, Level 2Graded - Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Advanced and Para all grades combined, Amateur Level 1, Amateur Level 2.  

An Amateur Level 1 rider is a rider of category CN-C2 on a Level 1 horse.  An Amateur Level 2 rider is a rider of Category CN-C3 on a Level 1 or 2 horse.  A Para is a rider who holds either a full or provisional ESNZ Para Classification.

All Hours Tyres Prizes
