Who we are and what we do
The School Board is an elected group of parents who govern the school which means they are involved in setting the direction of the school along with the principal. There are 6 areas of governance:
Board members meet monthly and discuss progress in each of these areas. The principal and staff representative are also School Board members. The principal is responsible to the Board to manage the school in each of these 6 areas on a day to day basis. The Board has policies that are public documents in each of these areas and a full set is available for you to see at the School Office. We have a School Board who were elected in 2019. In the election year, all Parents and Caregivers are eligible to put themselves forward for the Board and are able to vote. The next election will be 2022.
