Arcady Hall of Residence – previously known as Bishop Julius.

Welcome to Arcady! We’re a small Hall of 165 beds and pride ourselves on offering a personal experience to assist you during your stay!

Centrally located, we are a 10-minute walk to the University of Canterbury, shops, cafes and supermarkets and a 15-minute bus ride to town.

Our facilities are perfect for groups, large and small. We offer on-site parking, wifi, common rooms, laundry, meeting spaces, a 166-seat dining hall and 165 single rooms with King Single beds.

Accommodation Type:

Private University Hall of Residence with four accommodation buildings – a total of 165 single rooms.

Costs:

Bed and a continental Breakfast at $60 per person, per night.

Individual rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Bedding and towels included. 

Catering:
Full catering is available by arrangement.
We have a fabulous kitchen on site than can prepare all meals from buffet style to a-la-carte to packed lunches – working to your budget.
