COACH REGISTRATIONS ONLINE:

ALL coaches MUST register online. 2023 registered coaches will receive an email invite to register OR if you are a new coach go to your club or School website  COACH REGISTRATION - CLUBS to complete a new coach registration online form.

RUGBY SMART:

Before the season kicks off, you’ll need to ensure you’ve completed RugbySmart. 

This season we’ve made it even EASIER to complete RugbySmart and you’ll only need to do one of the following:

.    Complete the RugbySmart Online Module (recommended), or

·         Take part in a NZR RugbySmart Webinar, or

·         Attend a RugbySmart practical session, facilitated by CMRFU.

EASY STEPS:

  1. Online Registration Form - Re-register OR new form on your club or School Rugby website - COACH REGISTRATION - CLUBS
  2. Choose one the 3 options – RugbySmart Online Module, NZR RugbySmart Webinar or CMRFU RugbySmart practical session.

·         Wednesday 15th March – 7pm

·         Sunday 2nd April – 7pm

·         Sunday 16th April – 7pm

·         Wednesday 3 May – 7pm

CMRFU RugbySmart Practical Workshop

SMALL BLACKS COACH REGISTRATION & WORKSHOPS 2024

Thanks for taking up the opportunity to contribute positively to our game and our rugby kids. Your service to the community, your club and players is most appreciated.

In order to be registered to coach junior rugby in NZ, ALL coaches & assistant coaches MUST attend a NZR Small Blacks Coaching Workshop facilitated by CMRFU.

The Courses will be delivered in accordance with the 3 Player Developmental stages – BEGINNING Y1 (U6) & Y2 (U7), LEARNING Y3 (U8) – Y6 (U11) & PLAYING Y7(U12) – Y8 (U13).

WORKSHOP DETAILS ARE BELOW:

BEGINNING (Y1 (U6) & Y2 (U7)) Grades - Saturday 6th April, 9.30am @ Bombay RFC

PLAYING (Y7 (U12) – Y8 (U13)) Grades - Wednesday 10th April, 6.30pm @ Navigation Homes Stadium, Pukekohe

LEARNING (Y3 (U8) –Y6 (U11)) Grades - Saturday 13th April, 9.30am @ Manurewa RFC

NOTE: If Coaching Girls only Rippa, CMRFU will be running a ‘Coaching Girls Rippa Workshop’ prior to the season starting – Date & Venue TBC.


Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time, coaches must be registered 15 minutes prior then the workshop will start promptly at the given time.

What to bring to the workshops:

·         Water

·         Appropriate clothing for a coaching session on the field.

·         Jacket if wet (please dress for the weather).


Two Easy Steps For Small Black Coaches

  1. PLEASE COMPLETE the online form and submit.
  2. MUST attend one of the Small Blacks Courses.  

POLICE VETTING

If registering to coach a team with one or more players aged under 18, New Zealand Rugby requires you to undergo NZ Police vetting. Failure to agree to be vetted and provide a driver licence number or other required ID may result in you being ineligible to coach a team with player(s) aged under 18.
