Motorsport New Zealand Clubsport Championship

We are pleased to announce entries are now open

The 2026 MotorSport New Zealand ClubSport Championship is being organised and promoted by the Ashburton Car Club and will take place on Saturday 14 March 2026 and Sunday 15 March 2026.

The Championship is being held under these Supplementary Regulations, the MotorSport New Zealand 2026 ClubSport Championship Articles, and the current MotorSport New Zealand National Sporting Code and its Appendices and Schedules particularly Appendix Five, Schedule C, Part One and Part Two.

The MotorSport New Zealand ClubSport Championship is combination of three Events of different disciplines, comprising a Motorkhana, an Autocross, and a Bent Sprint, held over one weekend, with points from each individual event combining to determine the overall Champion as detailed in the 2026 ClubSport Championship Articles, which can be found here:

SPRAYMARKS MOTOKHANA

Wheels Week - SprayMarks Motorkhana

The Ashburton Car Club is holding a sealed Motorkhana. Spraymarks has kindly let the club use their yard again, we are very thankful as a club as we do not get these events very often.

This will be held at 22 Dobson Street - SprayMarks Yard (past the cnr of Noel Leeming ) Ashburton

Event Information

Documentation: 9.30am

Start: 10.00am

Cost: $50 - cash or internet payment only - No eftpos available Entries on the day or via https://online.motorsport.org.nz (ENTRIES AREN'T OPEN YET)

Drifting is allowed with some limitations

The vehicle needs to be up to warrantable standards, you do not need to be a member of the club just as long as you haven't done three events already, so if you are keen on trying out motorsport or even your skills of driving around cones come and enter.

1.   How to Enter:

Enter via Motorsport Online

When completing your entry, select Pay Later.

2.  Make payment via internet banking

All bank account details and the entry fee amount can be found in the event regulations.

3. Email your Driver Profile

Send your completed Driver Profile to:admin@ashburtoncarclub.org.nz

Time: Racing starts from 8am both days

Location: Riverside Industrial Area

Entry $10 per day -eftpos available
