Cricket always needs more umpires.

BENEFITS OF UMPIRING

Umpiring offers numerous benefits, including staying physically active and engaged in the sport of cricket. It helps develop valuable management, communication, and self-confidence skills that are transferable to professional and personal life.

Umpires play a crucial role in ensuring games are conducted fairly and safely, contributing positively to the community and the sport. The role also provides social opportunities, including meeting new people and joining a vibrant network. Additionally, umpiring can lead to travel, a deeper understanding of the game, and potential pathways to national-level officiating.
