Ayaan Lambat is one of the youngest players to earn an Auckland HEARTS contract. The Howick Pakuranga all-rounder has progressed rapidly through Auckland’s age-group and A-team programmes, earning her first domestic contract ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Lambat represented New Zealand at the 2025 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia. One of her standout performances came against South Africa, when she claimed 3/6 as New Zealand restricted their opponents to 91/7.
She continued her development at the 2026 National Under-19 Women’s Tournament, scoring 219 runs in only three matches as Auckland finished runner-up. Still eligible for age-group cricket, Lambat is regarded as an exciting prospect with the ability to contribute in both disciplines.
