About Barracuda Rebels

Coaching with experience, care, and confidence.

Coach Kirsten

I have been involved in coaching netball for over 30 years and have a real passion for helping young players develop both their skills and confidence in the game.

I enjoy creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where players can learn the fundamentals of netball while growing as individuals and teammates. My focus is on building strong foundations, encouraging teamwork, and helping players develop the confidence to take their game to the next level.

Recently, I returned to further develop my coaching knowledge and skills, completing my CCA Level 1 qualification with Netball New Zealand. I am committed to continuing my learning so I can provide the best possible coaching experience for the players I work with.

Coach Sera

In winter, the courts become my second home, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love this sport as it brings so much more than a game. Friendships, skill development on and off the court, and no two games are the same.

My approach is player-first, supporting them in uncovering their superpower to grow their confidence as a player and person.

Over the last couple of years, I have dedicated a significant amount of time to developing my coaching skills by completing my CCA2 in 2025 and attending as a coach observer at the Summer Squad Series and National Development Camps. Attending the camps and series has been beneficial to build my confidence that building rock-solid fundamentals will build the player for the future and look after their bodies so they can continue to play without injury.

I am competitive without compromising on quality or sportsmanship.
