GRADE CONVENOR

Each grade has a convenor. The convenor is your first point of contact for all communication and football queries.

Our 13th Grade convenor for 2021 is TBC.


REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration and payment can be made through our website here. Please note that online credit card payments incur a 2.5% surcharge.

REGISTRATION DAY:

Registration Evenings:  Every Thursday from 4th February to Thursday 4th March from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Clubrooms. Registrations will be processed on-line with an option for payment using Eftpos.

Online registration closes on Sunday 14th March.

MUSTER - YOUR TEAM & TRAINING DETAILS

It is important for all players to attend muster at the clubrooms (36 Portage Road, New Lynn). Team placements are confirmed at muster. Your team then gathers together to meet and select the Coach, Manager and confirm all training details. A coach and manager are selected from the team parents. 

U13 Muster is at 2pm on Sunday 11th April.


DRAW

WHO

Any child turning 13 in 2021.


WHERE AND WHEN

U13s play throughout metropolitan Auckland on Saturday mornings. 

You will play teams in the NRF and depending on the other teams in the same division, your away games (every two weeks) could be as far south as Pukekohe, Bucklands Beach in the east and even Waiheke Island.

Bay Olympic will assist with the cost of ferry tickets for players and 2 team management adults. Please keep your receipt and email hq@bayolympic.co.nz for reimbursement.


NRFL U13 Youth teams play on Sunday mornings throughout the NRF. This can be as far north as Whangarei and as far south and east as Hamilton and Tauranga, respectively. 



SEASON


Youth Community Football U13 to U19

The first game of the season is on Saturday 8th May 2021.

For NRF Community teams the first four weeks are grading rounds with the championship round commencing on 12th June 2021. 

There are no games over Queen's birthday weekend nor the weekends of the 17th and 24th July. 

Except in exceptional circumstances, the season will close on Saturday 25th September.


NRF Youth Championship Division 1 & 2

The first game of the season is on Sunday 9th May 2021.

There are no games over the weekends of the 17th and 24th July and 28th August. 

Except in exceptional circumstances, the season will close on Saturday 25th September.


NRFL Youth Premier Football U13 to U17

The first game of the season is on Sunday 12th April 2021.

There are no games the weekends of 24th April, 17th July, 28th August. 

Except in exceptional circumstances, the season will close on Saturday 25th September.



FIELD AND FOOTBALL SIZE

The teams play on full size pitch.

Games are played with a size 4 soccer ball.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancelled or postponed games are shown on the NRF website here under Competitions and under your age. In the event of heavy rainfall, please check your fixture on Friday evening and again Saturday morning to confirm your game will go ahead as planned.


UNIFORM

Comunity players need their own:

  • Plastic moulded boots
  • Nike Green Bay Olympic shirt
  • Nike Green Bay Olympic shorts
  • Nike Green Bay Olympic socks
  • Shin pads (all players must wear shin pads)

Bay Olympic Nike gear, which can only be purchased online, is available through Ultra Football here

Due to NRF regulations, the club provides the NRF Championship and NRFL Youth teams with numbered shirts.


PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Parent volunteers are required for each team in the following team roles:

  • Coach
  • Manager
  • Referee – required for half of every game
  • Assistant Referee (i.e. linesman)

Please consider your availability for these roles. They are not covered by the club and we cannot guarantee someone else in your child’s team will volunteer.

Courses for both coaching, referees and linesman are offered by the club. Visit the development section of our website for available courses. 


COST

For U13 Community Divisions - $200 for the season

For NRFL Youth Premier - $200 plus a Term Resource Fee of $95 per Term for Terms 1, 2 and 3.
