Weekend Results Wrap – Saturday 20 June 2026

The Ruakākā Reserve was a sea of Bream Bay United maroon on Saturday.

We kicked off the morning with First Kicks and Fun Football — a pure delight to watch, with ruddy‑faced kids running their hearts out and proud parents, grandparents and supporters cheering from the sidelines.

We also had 8 of our 9 junior and youth teams playing at home this weekend. Results were mixed, but one thing was consistent across every pitch: our players gave it everything in true BBU style.

The day wrapped up with our 3rd Division men in a nail‑biter that went all the way to penalties. It didn’t fall our way this time, but the team showed fierce determination, grit, and some brilliant attacking phases throughout the match.
