A group of recreational mountain bikers with the emphasis on having fun together, whether on the regular Thursday night ride on on away trips such as the Taupo 12 hour or Rotorua 24 hour events.

The skill range is from newbies to technically very good riders, some who like to go fast and others that wish they could.

The club is supportive of youth who show some initiative, and wishes to expand this type of association. Trophies and prizes have been donated to Karamu HS and Hastings Boys HS.

Many thanks to Ton for leading last Thursday's ride around a wet Hastings. Historically interesting, and fun, it was a good ride all round.  
As well, a special thanks to Carl & Cleo for their warmth and hospitality, together with outstanding catering, back at their home.

This Thursday, 20th Aug, it looks to be clear - but any off-road is still likely to be pretty muddy.  So we are riding up and down Napier, with Craig leading the way.  Meet at Shed 2 ,Ahuriri,  at 5.30pm for 5.45 start.  Food/drinks to follow at Shed 2.
