Substitutes

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A substitute can be appointed if a team member becomes unable to play at any time.

​​​​​​​A substitute can only be made once to an original team member, i.e. a member of the team that started the first game in the Club competition.

Substitutes are not permitted for Singles events.
​​​​​​​Other events are subject to 
Bowls NZ domestic Regulation 2.4.

The player(s) put forward for consideration must be of equal or ​​​​​​​ lesser ability than the Team Member concerned.

​​​​​​​The substitute must play in any position other than skip

To enable the tournament committee to make a fair decision for “substitute requests” this form
is to be completed by the club match committee

Substitutes required at very short notice will require a call to the tournament committee convenor
Reg Goston 027 461 7562.

 Final decisions will be based on information submitted and any other relevant facts that are
available to the committee.

When submitted,  your request will automatically be emailed to the Tournament Committee Convener.
