Bowls Orewa is nestled on the edge of the Western Reserve by beautiful Orewa Beach.

The club is a vibrant mix of men and women and with over 251 members; we have the largest number of playing members in the North Harbour region. With two artificial carpet greens, one of which is covered, and one natural maniototo green, bowlers have the opportunity to practise and compete year round.

Summer Coaching

Summer coaching is held by arrangement for new bowlers at a time to suit, with skills practice on Friday mornings from 10am. Club bowls are available on loan to beginners and all essential gear is supplied. The only requirement is that flat-soled shoes are worn. More advanced skills coaching is held on Monday evenings from 5pm – 6.30pm.

Roll Ups

If you prefer a relaxed, social game of bowls, then Roll Ups are for you. They are held every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon throughout the year. Names should be in by 12.45pm. Teams are drawn, and you’ll play 2 games with a break in between.

Club Room Hire

Our spacious, licensed clubrooms, when not required by members, are available for hire for special events and corporate functions.
