The 2016 Canterbury Country Wilding Challenge team won the competition by beating:

Central Smash
In the final they beat Eastern Stars 7-5
This team included 3 of Ellesmere's junior girls who were Amelia Atkinson, Katie Kirsopp and Molly McKenzie. Well done girls. The other players were from Mid Canterbury.
