CTFC Girls U14 Academy 2022

Beginning in 2022 Cashmere Technical FC are launching their very first Girls Talent Development Programme. As the girls and women’s game grows in New Zealand, Cashmere Technical acknowledges its role to support and develop emerging female players with an aspirational pathway.

With the Women’s World Cup coming to our shores in 2023 and the Wellington Phoenix starting the first female New Zealand professional team, the time is now to continue to grow and develop an already great female programme within our football club.

How are we going to do this?

We will run a Talent Development Programme similar to our already successful TDP programme in the boys' space. Our new Girls programme will run for 30 weeks of the year and will introduce the tactical side of the game alongside technical and physical components. It will also introduce the players to Strength and Conditioning (S&C), Injury Prevention, Video Analysis and more. The team will be led by a C-License coach with two sessions a week at our fantastic facilities at Garrick Park plus a game.

Our Girls Academy programme will be for players born in 2008 & 2009.

By running this Programme and linking it back to our Academy and its values, we will create better players and more importantly better people. It is from these values that we will learn, grow and develop while also giving back to our football club.

CTFC Boys Academy

We have over 150 players attending our CTFC Development Academy, and have 4 CTFC Academy teams from U13-U17 in the Mainland Youth Premier League.

We also run our CTFC Academy Development programme for all players who want to improve. We will have assessment games in the first week of the academy so that we can tier players in to the appropriate groups and have the best players playing with and against the best players on a regular basis.

Our CTFC Academy Teams (U13-U17) operate over 40 weeks of the year and have a detailed training program throughout the year, sports science support from ARA, Qualified coaching staff and train and play on our great facilities at Garrick Park.

CTFC Academy Term 4 2021

We are delighted to be running our Term 4 programmes at Somerfield Park. These sessions are a great way of developing skills in a fun environment.

Term 4 runs from Monday 18^th October, till Friday 17^th December (9 weeks). No sessions on Labour day. $10 per session

Monday	4.00 – 5.15 PM	Girls only	All Grades Welcome
	5.00 – 6.00 pm	Goal Keeper training $15 per session	All Grades Welcome
	5.30 – 6.30 pm	9^th and 10^th Grade	Year of birth 2011 and 2012
Tuesday	4.00 – 5.15 pm	11^th and 12^th Grade	Year of birth 2009 and 2010
	5.30 – 6.45 pm	13^th, 14^th, 15^th Grade and above	Year of birth 2006, 2007, 2008 and older
Wednesday	4.00 – 5.00 pm	7^th and 8^th Grade	Year of birth 2013 and 2014
	5.15 – 6.15 pm	9^th and 10^th Grade	Year of birth 2011 and 2012
Thursday	4.00 – 5.15 pm	11^th and 12^th Grade	Year of birth 2009 and 2010
	5.30 – 6.30 pm	13^th, 14^th, 15^th Grade and above	Year of birth 2006, 2007, 2008 and older

We need at least 4 keepers to run our GK training sessions.

We will only run all other groups if there are at least 10 players registered. 😊
