We’re a small, family-focused pony club with around 25 riding members, ranging from Lead Rein through to A Certificate level. Whether you’re just starting out or more experienced, there’s a place for everyone here.

You’ll find us in Cambridge, right beside the Cambridge Raceway on Taylor Street.

We run rallies every second Sunday morning, and during daylight savings, we also enjoy weekday rallies on Wednesdays.

From time to time, we love getting out and about - with trips to the beach, farm rides, and visits to various equestrian facilities for some cross-country training.

We also hold horsemanship rallies to help our members build their knowledge and confidence in pony care. Certificate testing is available throughout the season.

Our main focus is simple - having fun while learning the skills to confidently care for and ride our ponies.

We encourage our riders to get involved in pony club team events, including dressage, show jumping, show hunter, eventing, and games. These days are so much fun and great for team building!

Summer camp is always a highlight of the year. We usually head away during the January school holidays, with past camps in Taupō, Rotorua, Otorohanga, and Kawerau.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining or would like to know more. New families and riders are always welcome! You’re also welcome to come along as a casual rider for up to three rallies ($25 per rally) before deciding if you’d like to become a member.
