Classes of Membership


Full Members :  Shall be entitled to all the playing and other privileges and advantages of full membership of the Club.

Life Members :  Any full member of not less than ten years membership who has rendered outstanding service to the Club may be elected as a Life Member.

Limited Members :  If any full member, through illness or other sufficient reason is unable to play bowls regularly the Executive may classify such member a Limited Member.  Limited Members shall be eligible to play in all club rollups, internal mini galas, Rotary, or any such events that the Executive may from time to time permit.  They are not permitted to enter into, or play in any Club Championship or tournaments outside those already specified.

Associated Members :  Any full member of any other Club affiliated to Bowls NZ shall be eligible for election as an Associate Member of this Club.  Associate Members shall be entitled to play on the Club's greens on such days as the Executive approves, but shall not be eligible to play for the Club in outside competition.

Honorary Members : If a full member is unable, through illness or other sufficient cause, to play bowls, and such member has taken an active and prominent part in the affairs of the Club, the Executive may classify such member as an Honorary Member.  Honorary Members may play at the discretion of the Executive.

Social Members : Any persons not desirous of enjoying full membership status but wishing to enjoy an ongoing association with the Club shall apply in writing to the Secretary for Social Membership status.  Social Members shall be entitled only to participate in social activities and shall have no bowling proviliges whatsoever.

Casual Members : can participate in galas held by the Club, pay the entry fee plus pay an extra fee as set by the Executive, and become a member for the period of the gala.
