Lotto Central Federation League

The Men’s Federation League has been wrapped up on the weekend after the catch up match from Round 11 between Napier City Rovers and Turbine Residential North End AFC ended with a 3-2 win to North End at Bluewater Stadium. The two sides will battle again in a couple of weeks at the same venue in the Men’s Federation Cup Semi Final. With all matches complete we can now crown our Golden Boot winner for 2022 as Melvin Rumere from PN Marist FC with 15 goals for the season.

 

Women’s Federation League

The Women’s Federation League also got completed on the weekend as NP Rangers AFC travelled to take on Team McGhie Football Whanganui in a Round 5 catch up match. Rangers came out on top again after winning there last weekend and this time they won 6-0 to finish as Runners Up in the competition one point behind Champions Taradale AFC. Zara Erol-Watt and Lilly Dowsing both getting braces with Lilly also claiming the Golden Boot title for 2022 with 15 strikes this year.

 

Tungsten Legal Taranaki Duchess Cup – Semi Finals

Our Grand Finalists have been found in the Duchess Cup as both Moturoa AFC teams have made the big dance against each other. Premiership Champions Excel Refrigeration Moturoa AFC proved too strong for NP Rangers AFC winning 8-0 with braces to Anna Hinton and Premiership Golden Boot winner Fernanda Toscani. In the other Semi Final TSH Moturoa AFC secured a Grand Final spot by winning 9-0 away to Tungsten Legal Stratford AFC, Kate Phipps and Brooke Carter netting twice with Jasmine Middlebrook bagging a hat trick. 

 

Tungsten Legal Taranaki Duchess Plate – Quarter Finals

Inglewood AFC will host the first Semi Final after they won 2-1 away at Kaitake FC and will play NPGHS 1st XI who managed to get past Hipp Accounting Hawera FC 3-2 when hosting them at Peringa Park. O.P.S Ltd Waitara SC will host the second Semi Final as they just did enough to defeat Liquid Beanz Peringa United 2-1 and will face Bullitt Fabrications Eltham AFC who knocked out Worley Woodleigh FC 4-0 at home thanks to a brace from Marama Harrison. 

 

Yorb Taranaki Men’s Premiership

Atlas Professionals NP Rangers AFC have secured second place in the Premiership for 2022 as they defeated Peringa United 2-1 at Peringa Park with the two sides battling against each other again this weekend in a Duff Rosebowl Semi Final. TMT Building Ltd Moturoa AFC finished third on the table when they won 6-1 at home against KP Joinery Waitara SC with all the goals being shared around. In the final match played Premier Heating NPBHS 1st XI won 4-0 when hosting Novotel Woodleigh FC with the goals also being shared around in this one. Smith & Sons Eltham AFC defaulted to FC Western and Rough Habits Hawera FC had the Bye. 

 

Taranaki Men’s Championship

Cunningham Construction Kaitake FC have been crowned Champions of the Men’s Championship in 2022 after getting past third placed Millwards Roofing FC Western 2-1 at Corbett Park. Western Autos Moturoa AFC will have to settle for second place as their 5-4 win at home over Landmark Homes FDMC Senior Team wasn’t enough to claim the title, Leo Taylor scored all four goals for FDMC with Tyler Webber getting a hat trick for Moturoa and now leads the Golden Boot race by two goals with just a catch up game between FC Western and NPBHS 2nd XI to go. Inglewood AFC have moved up into third place for the time being after defeating Mark Frost Electrical Hawera FC 7-1 at home, Joel Stewart netting twice. Two goals from Stirling Monk has helped Cross Country Rental NPBHS 2nd XI claim the home win 4-1 against Spectrum Decorating Services Woodleigh FC and in the final match Trafficr NP Rangers AFC won 1-0 away to Smart Rehab & Physio Peringa United. 

 

 

 

Taranaki Men’s Division 1

Shining Peak NP Rangers Oddbodz have won back to back titles in the Men’s Division 1 as well as holding onto the Challenge Trophy for the second straight year after they got the home victory 6-1 over Wonder Minerals Kaponga SC with Moriz Hartman netting a brace. Withers Coachlines Moturoa AFC won the battle for fourth spot 4-1 when hosting Proglaze Waitara SC, Logan Hislop scoring two goals for Moturoa. Two goals from Adam Groen got FC Western Flaming Wolverines over the line 4-2 against Inglewood AFC, Paul Hamlin Builders Eltham AFC picked up a 2-0 home win against Taranaki Thru Tubing NP Rangers AFC and the final match between McDonalds Real Estate Stratford AFC against Withers Coachlines FDMC Development Team ended in a 1-1 draw. 

 

 

 

Taranaki Men’s Division 2

Egmont Texturers NP Rangers AFC in their last match for the season have stolen the Challenge Trophy off Pipeline Peringa United after getting the 3-1 away win. Webber Building Kaitake FC HB’s have given themselves a chance for second place after knocking over this seasons Champions Marty Suchy Harcourts FC Western 5-1 thanks to a hat trick from Joseph Emans. Town & Country Waitara SC finally got their first win for the season after winning 2-1 away at Peringa United Socials, Leyton Hall getting both goals for Waitara. Stratford AFC won their last game of the season 3-2 when hosting Rob Mason Electrical Group Woodleigh FC, Jamie Pretty getting a brace for Stratford and Julian Galeano a brace for Woodleigh. The final match ended in a 2-2 draw between Inglewood AFC and 4U Computer Solutions Hawera FC with Richard Smith getting both goals for Inglewood.
