Hazards on the Race course
You need to be aware that there are Hazards Across the whole reserve, These can present a danger, particularly to young children. These include
- the irrigation dam and ditches,
- Airport runway
- Horses and sheep around the reserve
- Fencing, generally sharp and electric fences
- Electrical Hazards - cords switches and fences
- Vehicle traffic
- the storage area beside the menz shed with waste
- materials
- the menz shed
- Weather events can create dangers with heavy frost, high winds and sudden downpours causing the need for extreme care
