Location: TAURANGA

Largest children's athletics event for the season. Approx 1,500 competitors, accompanied by families, will be visiting and staying in the region competing in track and field events.

Any financial (2025 - 2026 season) boy or girl who is a member of an Athletic Club in New Zealand and is registed with Athletics New Zealand can compete.

Grades are 7 to 14 inclusive.  Age as at 31 December, 2025.  Athletes may only compete in events in their own grade, with the exeption of relays.

An athlete may enter a maximum of 5 individual events, and may enter in 1 relay.

Awards grades 7, 8 and 9 year olds.
Grades 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 - The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place getters will be presented with Gold, silver and bronze medals respectively and also a certificate.
