It is Mainland's absolute pleasure to let you know that Anna Galvan was presented with her Netball New Zealand Service Award Pin surrounded by the Tactix/Flames Alumni on Sunday 22nd June between the SHNL and ANZP games at Wolfbrook Arena by Lesley Murdoch.
This award recognises Anna's outstanding commitment, leadership, and contributions as a strategic powerhouse for Netball in Mainland and on the National stage. Over these past 30 years, Anna has consistently demonstrated an unwavering passion for netball, coupled with an exemplary dedication to advancing the sport at every level.
As a player, coach, and strategic leader, Anna has not only been an integral part of Christchurch Netball Centre locally, Anna has also held a regional role on the Tactix Steering Committee, as well as Nationally and Internationally playing on the world stage.
Anna has been instrumental in driving key initiatives that have helped build an incredible facility at Ngā Puna Wai, this facility will develop and grow netball in not only Christchurch but also South Island wide and is a testament to Anna's vision, leadership and determination. Anna's efforts have significantly contributed to increasing participation, improving standards, and fostering a greater sense of community for Netball, and we are so proud to Celebrate Anna with this achievement.
