The Miles Toyota 1st XV Final against Christ's College is ON! With the Government's announcement of the move to Level 2, this game will now go ahead in Nelson on Saturday 18th of September (venue & time to be confirmed). This will be played under NZ Rugby's Covid-19 Level 2 guidelines. NZ Rugby are reviewing these guidelines at present with some of the key aspects of this level being that mass gatherings must not exceed 100 people (including players, coaches, referees, medical staff, and planned spectators), people attending must observe the 2 metre social distancing rule and the wearing of face masks if they can. More details on this game will be posted on the Nelson College Rugby Facebook page as we are informed. The winner of this game will play against Otago Boys' High School in Dunedin on Saturday 25th of September for the South Island Title.
Junior Crusaders Camp 2021
Congratulations to Ben Lefale, Dylan Irvine, Hunter Leppien, Jacob Neha-Manihera, Netani Baleisomosomo, Nic Sauira, Ollie Inch, Timoci Sauira & Wil Thornalley who have been selected in the 2021 edition of the Junior Crusaders Camp to be held next month. With the season now completed for all our sides bar the 1st XV, this is a good opportunity to thank all of the people who stuck their hand up this season to coach or manage our various teams. It is a big commitment to volunteer your time and talents to support the development of our future players, and it does not go unnoticed. Without you all, Rugby simply would not be able to happen.
