College Sport Wellington hosted the 2026 Indoor Bowls Championships at North Wellington Indoor Bowls on Wednesday 3 June, with more than 40 students taking part in a strong day of competition.

In the Championship Singles, Newlands College’s Leo Rennwandt secured first place ahead of Quinn Strong (Aotea College).  Rongotai College claimed the Championship Pairs title through Jack Hollis and Spencer Ravji, finishing in front of Hutt Valley High School’s Megan and Tristan Joubert.

Mana College dominated the Novice Pairs division, taking out both first and second, with Dallas Kuea and Aston McAnnalley leading Allise Taurina and Georgia Haerewa.

College Sport Wellington extends its thanks to Kylie Waldron and North Wellington Indoor Bowls for delivering the event.
