Whanau Mixed Touch

Maximum of 6 players on the field at any one time.

Maximum of 3 males on at any one time for Mixed.

For a game to commence, a minimum of 4 players is

required (including 1 female and 1 male for mixed

teams.) 6.

All players must be registered to the Sporty

website before they play.

Team composition players on the field

- 1 x Adult: 18 + year olds

- 2 x Youth: 14 -17 year old

- 3 x Juniors:  9 – 13 year old

Maxium composition of players on the field

1 adult player

2 youth players

6 junior players (its not recommended)

You allowed to have more than 3 junior players on the field.

eg : (4 junior, 1 youth, 1 adult) or (5 junior, 1 youth) or (4 junior, 2 youth) 

The two points try ruling for wāhine or kōtiro ma is to

enhance the inclusion and participation of using our wāhine

or kōtiro ma during games.
