Key Information 2017

• Venue - Inglewood, Taranaki
• There are two team events - 14 & 15 (U16) team and 16 & 17 (U18) team.
• Every athlete competes in THREE events only – there are no heats – each track event is timed and points allocated which accumulates to the team totals
• 14 & 15 – you compete in either two track and one field event or two field and one track event.
• 16 & 17 – three options for you - either three track events or three field events or a combination
• Your age as at 31 December 2016
• All teams will be accommodated at Waikato University
• Buses are being organised for transport to and from Auckland

The 14/15 yr olds will compete as Under 16's in a teams competition. In this grade you must either do 1 track and 2 field events or 2 track and 1 field event. Everyone will compete in a medley relay.

The 16/17 yr olds will compete as Under 18's in a new teams competition. In this grade you can do what ever three events you like as long as the team has at least one person in each event.
