2026/27 Tournament Dates TBC


Canterbury Open 30-31st January 2027:

  • 1st Division prize pool - $1,200 total: 

  • 1st place - $300 per team (men's & women's)

  • 2nd place - $200 per team (men's & women's)

  • 3rd place - $100 per team (men's & women's)

Plus our usual cool prizes for 2nd Division

Venue:  Pioneer Sand Pit, 75 Lyttelton St, Somerfield, Christchurch.

Cost:

1 day tournament: $25 per person (paid at the time of registration)

2 day tournament: $45 per person (paid at the time of registration) 

Registrations close at 12noon Tuesday before the tournament. 

Your registration confirms your interest in playing in the tournament, but does not guarantee a place.  There are limited entries in each division and once entries close we can consider the number of entries vs the number of courts, the format of the draw and the number of teams per division.  If we are unable to place you in your requested division we will try to offer an alternative.  If we are unable to confirm a place for you in the tournament we will refund your payment straight away.

Entry grades for 2026/2027 season:

  • Novice/Beginner - any age & just starting out - (teams of 2 or 3) 

  • U17's - born in 2011 or later (teams of 2)

  • U19's - born in 2009 or 2010 (teams of 2)

  • Open - Division 1 - for experienced competitive players (teams of 2)

  • Open - Division 2 - for developing or less competitive players (teams of 2)
