What is HIGH POINTS?
High Points is the collation of points for Dressage Rotorua members from all the Dressage Rotorua Open Competition Days and Closed days.
The Series runs for the financial year (1st April  to 31st March ) and all members are eligible (must be financial at time of competition for those scores to count).
How to QUALIFY: To qualify for final placings, riders must compete on the same horse in at least three Dressage Rotorua Competition Days (open or closed).
Combinations do not necessarly have to stay in the same grade BUT only points gained in the same grade will be tallied up for final score.

Young Rider (Under 16) Award: Members aged under 16 as at 31 March at the end of each season are eligible for this award.  This award is additional to the Level awards (ie Under 16 riders can win this award in addition to any Level they may have won).

How to get POINTS: Points are awarded for the following percentages: Under 50% = 1 point, 51 -55% = 2 points, 56 - 60% = 3 points, 61 -65% = 5 points, 66 - 70% = 7 points, 71%+ = 10 points.
These points will be recorded from each competition for grades Training Level through to Level 6 & Above.

PRIZEGIVING: Prizes are awared to the winner, and first and second runner-ups of each grade, with the winner receiving a trophy. The prize giving will be at the Annual General Meeting in May.
