HISTORY

Dunstan High School is a modern co-educational Year 9 to Year 13 School situated in Alexandra. We have a proud tradition of educating the young people of Central Otago and beyond.

Dunstan achieves great success on the rugby field, with the 1st XV continually taking down larger schools in the Highlander region competition.



PAST PLAYERS

Bevan Wilson (born 22 March 1956) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A full-back, Wilson represented Otago at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1977 to 1979. He played 12 matches for the All Blacks including eight internationals.

Kyle Harris (born 23 September 1994) is a former Dunstan High School student, who in 2014 represented New Zealand Under 20 at the Rugby World Cup in Auckland. Now studying in Otago, he plays for Kaikorai.... Watch this space!

Jayden Spence (born 14 August 1991) is another former Dunstan High School student who is still currently playing. After a short stint in France playing for Bordeaux Club, he has returned to the Otago ITM Cup competition. Also a regular in the Highlanders wider training squad, Jayden has gone far since his early days at Dunstan.
