💪 Training Expectations
- Players must attend one training session per week, organised by their coach (excluding non‑training teams).
- Training is held at Netball North Harbour, Western Springs College (Auckland Central) or Westlake Girls High School, unless your coach advises otherwise.
- Attendance and punctuality matter — they help your team grow and perform well.
- If you can’t attend training, please contact your coach by phone or text.
- Missing training without a reasonable explanation may result in reduced court time on game day.
- Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in being asked to sit out.
- Our coaches volunteer their time — please show them respect and appreciation.
- Serious or repeated behaviour issues may be referred to the committee.
🔄 Fill‑Ins & Reserves
- A fill‑in player who plays three games must pay full club fees (exceptions may be considered in writing).
- Club reserves pay $14 per game.
- Non‑registered players must pay a $25 NNH fee and register as a club reserve.
- Fill‑ins will not replace a fully registered player unless that player is injured or absent.
💰 Fees & Payments
- The club operates under a NO PAY, NO PLAY policy.
- Fees are due by the first grading day or by the date set by the committee.
- If you need a payment plan, please contact the Treasurer — we’re here to help.
- Once the season begins (from the first grading day), fees are non‑refundable, except under special circumstances approved by the committee.
- Refunds (if approved) include deductions for:
- $100 non‑refundable portion
- $25 NNH registration fee
- Any other associated costs
- If no games (including grading) have been played, only the $25 NNH fee is deducted.
- After three games, fees are fully non‑refundable.
- A $100 non‑refundable deposit is due at the AGM, with weekly instalment options available.
- Full fees must be paid before receiving gear. If grading occurs before final payment, players will receive a dress only, which must be returned after the game.
📝 Team Selection
- Players are selected based on ability, skill, potential, and attitude.
- A selection panel appointed by the committee completes team placements.
- Teams are formed with the intention of being graded appropriately by Netball North Harbour.
- No player receives preference unless required for team balance or positional needs.
- Once placed, team selections are final, unless a change is mutually agreed by the player, coach, and committee.
- Players unable to attend trials will be placed in a team with available space, which may be the lowest available team.
👗 Uniforms
- Club uniforms may include a dress, tracksuit, and bag.
- Uniform swaps must be arranged through the Club Captain.
- All uniforms and equipment remain the property of East Coast Bays Inc unless personally purchased.
- Players are responsible for replacing or repairing lost or damaged items (excluding normal wear and tear).
