Eastern Athletics is your family-friendly local athletics Club. We welcome children from ages 3 to 14 to join us on Tuesday evenings from October to March at Crossfield Park in Glendowie.
Our Juniors (ages 3-6) learn the fun basics of run, jump and throw – getting their foundational skills in place. Plus every Club night is the chance to win ribbons for the sprints, or aim for ‘Athlete of the Day’. We also run a great Junior Club Champs in March.
Seniors (ages 7-14) receive expert coaching to improve track and field skills and help prepare keener athletes for competitions and meets. Later in the season we run Club Champs.
Club medals and cups are awarded at the annual prizegiving, with opportunities for every age group.
The emphasis is on skills acquisition, development and fun.
