Our vision at Eastern Waikato is to develop confidence, success, leadership and excellence through participation in the sport of netball, in a whanau environment that is safe and healthy for the community as a whole.

To some this may seem a difficult vision, however it is one that we constantly achieve year after year.

At Eastern Waikato we pride ourselves in the high caliber of affiliated players provided through the clubs & schools of the community and are continually overwhelmed with the attitude and commitment portrayed by the many volunteers associated to the centre. It is this passion and dedication that allows our young people to have the confidence to strive for their own goals and demonstrate their own successes.

It is ultimately what wins the hearts and minds of our community and promotes a level of excellence that makes us strong and lead throughout the Waikato region on the representative circuit.

The Eastern Waikato Netball Centre is affiliated to the Netball Waikato/BOP Region who in return is affiated to Netball New Zealand.Eastern Waikato Netball Centre’s responsibility is to administer, promote and develop the sport of netball within the Huntly, Taupiri, Ngaruawahia, Gordonton, Ohinewai, Orini, Horsham Downs and surrounding rural communities, however we believe we are responsible for teaching our players essential life values to enable them to become confident, strong, successful young leaders in the community through the development of netball.

We provide a number of competitions for the immediate and wider communities such as:
