PC Season runs from September - April  approx !

We try and have rallies on a Saturday Morning. Sometimes we have more depending on up and coming MPC events and sometimes less due to instructor avalibility. ..So please keep an eye on our website and FB for up to date rally dates :)


Thinking of joining Feilding PC?: Then please contact John Maxwell (so we can cater for numbers !) and come along and try us out ! You have a trial period of 3 rallies: 1st is free , 2nd and 3rd are $10 per rider (non refundable)
After the third rally, if you choose to join, then membership is expected to be paid in full .
Adult Riders are Very Welcome .You can ride before or after a Rally. If you wish too ride during a Rally then please keep clear from the Rally itself so not too distract the PC Kids or Instructors :) 


2018/2019 Season Fees:
Subs are due at the beginning of the Season .
1 Child Rider Member ($120) + 1 Adult non-riding Levy ($10)= $130
2 Children ($120 + $80) +1 Adult non- riding Levy ($10) = $210
3 Children ( $120+ $80+$80) +1 Adult non-riding Levy ($10) = $290

Adult Riders: $20 per rider per season . 

Plus: All Riders pay: $10 Per Rider Per Rally Instructors fee , payable on the day of each Rally.

Breakdown of the fees:
$30 is the New Zealand Pony Club Association Rider Levy
$10 is the New Zealand Pony Club Association Adult Levy
These two Levies are compulsary and go straight to NZPCA.

$30 Manawatu Pony Club Rider Levy
This is used to fund MPC events and training.
A portion of this levy also goes on to Manawatu-West Coast Area which is the area we belong to.

The remaining $60-$70 per rider and the $10 per rider per rally is retained by Feilding Pony Club Branch : This goes towards maintaing our club house, leasing the grounds, Instructors fees, equipment and events etc.

The rest of our costs for the season will be met with your help in Fundraising

We have  1) Rally Uniform
                2) Formal Uniform.

Riding Helmets are Compulsary !
Body Protectors are also required if riding the Cross Country jumps and for some SJ Events .

Feilding Pony Club is Located in idyllic Timona Park beside the Oroua River (with our entrance at the Poole Street end), Feilding has assembled an excellent set of equipment. We can (and have) build three dressage arenas, Two full Show Jumping arenas , a Junior set of jumps, gear for a wide range of Pony Club games , Cross Country jumps and a Club House (that can be hired out for all your function needs !)

We are a small (approx 8 riding members at present) but very friendly club!
Adult riders are very welcome too !
Dogs must be kept on leads.

Like many PC Clubs, we rely heavily on every member and their family  playing a very active role within this Club ! ie: Help set up /put away equipment for the rally, help out at events/rallies, help with fundraising and committee jobs and attend our meetings whenever possible .
Without this help and ongoing support the Club can not function.

Feilding PC is one of the branches of Manawatu Pony Club (MPC) Click Here . All Riders are encouraged to attend our rallies as well as MPC events during the season. MPC events are great fun and many are open to all level of rider.However, these MPC Events are only avaliable to fully paid up PC members !
As we are apart of MPC we also help run these events ,so its important that every family help out whenever possible.

NZPCA CERTIFICATES : Again:These are only open to fully paid up members of Pony Club All PC Members are encouraged to sit these exams when our head instructor deems you ready. Each member will be given a progress book. At each rally you must present your book to the instructor and it will be ticked off if you have achieved in the areas required to sit your test. ( D, D+, C, C+, B etc )
The exams will be organised by the branch and you will be notified when these will be and invited by our head coach to sit if your deemed ready !
Exams consist of a theory and a practical.
ALL RIDERS MUST PRESENT TO THE EXAMS IN CORRECT FORMAL PC CLUB ATTIRE ie : Our Formal Rally Vest, White long sleeved shirt, gold tie, white saddle blanket, NZPCA Pin , Long hair needs to be tidy and in a hair net pls x 


Fundrasing! Pony clubs do not run on thin air !!! We need to raise a lot of $ each season to keep going. Every member and their family will be asked to help out with these fundraising events !
Saddlery Warehouse is an easy way to earn Feilding PC some valuable $ to spend on the club !
