The Yellows Clubrooms

We have a great clubrooms based at our home ground of Johnston Park. Our family focused approach means the whole family is welcome and it is a common sight to see kids filling up the clubrooms. 

We also run a number of events each year where our members and visitors get a chance to let their hair down, get dressed up and have plenty of fun. 

Over the past few years we have had a Masquerade Ball, a Rock n Roll Night, a Night at the Races, a Casino Night and a Beerfest. You will see a few of the images from these nights on this page.

HOST RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

We have a responsibility to provide a safe drinking environment,

Our Policy is to serve club members, guests accompanied by club members and members of clubs with reciprocal visiting rights in a friendly, positive,  responsible and professional manner.

  • It is against the law to serve someone who is intoxicated.  Patrons who are visibly intoxicated will be asked to leave the premises and take advantage of our safe transport options.
  • It is against the law to serve minors.  We will check ID if anyone looks under 25.
  • The only forms of ID that we accept are NZ or Overseas Passport, HANZ 18+ card and NZ Drivers Licence.
  • We provide a range of low & non-alcoholic drinks.  If you are a designated driver, we have a selection of complimentary non-alcoholic drinks available.
  • We will provide transport options to get you home safe.  Let us sort you out a taxi or dial a driver.
  • A good range of food is always available.  Talk to our friendly bar staff about what we have on offer.
  • We maintain a training and management policy to give our staff the skills & support they need to perform their job responsibly.
  • We make sure these services are well promoted and will display sign outlining what we provided as responsible hosts.
  • Potable Iced Water is freely available to patrons at all times located at the bar.
