Introduction to our Bowling Club

The Fendalton Bowling Club is a medium sized bowling club situated on Fendalton Park and offers bowls for enjoyment and competitive bowls.

The club has two high quality natural greens which are regarded as one of the best greens in Canterbury. The World Bowling championships were held at Fendalton in 2016.

The clubhouse overlooks the greens with the upstiars lounge providing a stunning vista of our greens and Fendalton Park beyond. 

The club is fortunate to have a lift for the convenience of access to the upstairs lounge.

We welcome new players of all ages, male and female to our friendly club as we offer social and competitive bowling experiences.

Tuesday and Thurday 1.30pm - Indoor bowls

Summer Bowls

The summer bowling season runs from September through to the end of April each year.

The club enters teams in the Canterbury interclub competitions but also provides bowls for enjoyment by way of internal roll-ups on Tuedays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Free coaching is provided for all players each week.

First year players for the club are offered half price subscriptions
