SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER
1:00 Annual duster versus Elmwood Park at FBC. Club uniforms. Members are asked to pay $5 for the afternoon tea which is still a bit short of the actual cost; our visitors (Elmwood) are our guests and do not pay—the club covers their costs. If you are playing, plan to have your $5 ready to give to your skip.
SUNDAY 11 OCTOBER
Bowls Canterbury will be using one green for a Centre event.

Signups for Club Championship entries are posted on the Notice Board.
Open fours and triples will be completed pre-Christmas. Sign up by 15 October and play will begin the following week.
To get a jump start on post-Christmas events, the U5 (Years 1-5) singles and open singles will play rounds prior to Christmas and finish up in the new year with the deadline to sign up occurring in November. U5 (Years 1-2) will be played after Christmas. Other post-Christmas championships will include pairs and mixed pairs.
Now that both greens are in excellent playing condition, there will be room for FBC members to have access for practice even though there are things scheduled on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday this week.
There is a sheet on the Notice Board titled ABSENCE LIST. If you will be away and unavailable for play during the season, kindly indicate the days you are gone.
