SPORTS AND OUTDOOR EDUCATION - HAKINAKINA

Flaxmere College provides opportunities for all students to participate in sport and outdoor education, regardless of their abilities or experience.  Teams are coached and managed by dedicated staff, parents and members of the community.

We are focussed on increasing and improving sporting opportunities through partnerships with community clubs and sports organisations.

Sporting and outdoor education opportunities include:

2024 ECNI ATHLETICS

CONGRADULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING BOYS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE ECNI ATHLETICS HELD LAST WEEK.
LUSHION, HUNTAH, MARTIN, RUAWHARO AND AMAZIAH.

Special mention to Huntah Heke who was selected in the ECNI team for high jump to compete in the NISS which is held at Massey University, Palmerston North next month.  Good luck Huntah.  Our kura is proud of you.

Also Huntah has achieved one of our athletic record for High Jump, our current record was Anthony Anderton in 1996, his jump was 1.50m.  Our new record is 2024 Huntah Heke with a jump of 1.53m.  Congratulations once again Huntah.
