Floorball is a fast-growing type of hockey played indoors with plastic sticks and a lightweight plastic ball with holes.

Years 7&8.

Terms 1 and 4.

TEAM SIZE

The ideal number is 6-7 players. There are 4 in the rink at one time. 1 goalie and 3 field players in the rink.

GAME LENGTH

2 x 10-minute halves, with a 2-minute break in between.

COST           

$50 per term (TBC)

COMPETITION

​​​​​​​Teams will play weekly games on a Thursday afternoon at Akau Tangi Sports Centre, games may vary between 4.00 - 6.00pm. Term 1 typically begins early February and finishes the last week of term.

PRACTICES  

One practice per week, typically during a lunchtime, but will be dependent on coaches availability. 

UNIFORM

School PE shorts and blue PE top, good non-slip sports shoes, and white ankle socks.
