GOLDEN BAY ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB
Golden Bay Association Football Club is located in the beautiful rural countryside of Takaka, Golden Bay, New Zealand.
We are dedicated to offering an exceptional football experience that caters to players of all skill levels and age groups. We strongly believe in our role of imparting valuable life lessons to our athletes, fostering their personal development both on and off the field. We prioritise core values, promote sportsmanship, and actively engage in community outreach programmes. Our primary objective is to provide every player with the chance to reach their full potential, achieve their aspirations, and nurture a deep passion for the game. By instilling these principles, we aim to create an unrivalled environment for football that extends far beyond the boundaries of the sport itself.
Junior Football pathways start from 4 years old. Senior-level Football starts at 18 years old. We provide social and competitive teams in both Men's & Women's divisions.
Our teams play in the Nelson Bays football competition (The Nelson Bays Football District Executive is a subset of Mainland Football)
We encourage participation and support from all our community members. We offer the opportunity for you to be involved with the club at any level. From coaching to playing, from volunteering to help out on a Saturday morning to being on our committee. There is a spot for everyone.
