D  Certificate
Recommended age for D Certificate is 8 or 9 years.

The objectives are for the rider;
1)  to gain confidence in riding and handling a pony.
2) to be keen to improve and learn.


D+  Certificate
Takes two seasons of work.

Recommended age for D+ Certificate is 9 to 10 years

Candidates must hold their D Certificate (exception are riders aged 12 and over)

Height of jumps for D+ certificate are approximately 50cm.

This certificate was introduced to bridge the gap between the D and C Certificates. 

The objectives are;

1) working towards having a secure seat on the flat and over simple small fences.

2) demonstrate an increasing knowledge and confidence in the care of their pony.
