GOLF CROQUET
We play mainly the new interactive and shorter game of "Golf Croquet".

MEMBERSHIP
We have 52 members and always welcome new players of any age or ability.

EQUIPMENT
We have mallets and all equipment for newcomers to start playing. Eventually players buy their own mallets and we have suppliers whom we can recommend.

HOW TO JOIN
Just turn up and make yourself known. Often ringing the Secretary beforehand helps us look out for you. New members can have five sessions free of charge to learn how to play and see if they like the game.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions are currently $150 for new players in their first year, $240 for subsequent years and there is a green fee of $2 per session. Student subscriptions are $40.

Visitors within CWKC pay $3 green fees per session. Playing visitors from further afield pay $5.

CLUB TIMES
In the summer we play on Thursday and Saturday mornings 9.30am to 12.30pm and Tuesdays 5.30pm-7.30pm.
In the winter (June-August) we play from 12.30pm-3.30pm.

CLOTHING
Casual clothing is the norm with flat soled or sports shoes. Our Club colours are Cambridge Blue with Yellow and especially for Tournaments, members can wear Cambridge Blue sports shirts with white or light coloured shorts, skirts or slacks.

COACHING
Coaching is always available and other members will always help newcomers.

LADDER

A Golf Croquet Ladder operates. Any player can challenge a person higher on the ladder than themselves. Games are single matches and if the challenger wins they take the place of the loser who drops down one slot (as does everyone below that position).

THE CLUB

Hamilton East Croquet Club began in 1953 and has been on the present site for 50 years. 2023 was our 70th year and there are photos to view under the Gallery tab. We are affiliated to Croquet Waikato King Country, along with six other clubs, and with Croquet New Zealand.
