Congratulations to London Green who took out the Title of Corporate champion at the 2023 corporate regatta!
The HRC Corporate Regatta is held annually around May-June.
It gives companies the opportunity to race off against other corporates.
Event Rules:
- Maximum of 12 water training sessions per crew
- Each crew shall have a minimum of two (2) female rowers.
- Each crew shall have a maximum of two (2) registered rowers which by definition means they cannot race novice under Rowing NZ rules of racing.
- However, if your last competitive season was 2012 or earlier, or you are 48 years of age or older as of January 1, 2022, you are no longer considered a registered rower.
- Lane 1 is the lane closest to the HRC
- 2 points for a win, 1 point each for a draw.
- Heat Racing will start at the 1st Jetty north of the Hamilton Rowing Club and end at the southern end of Hamilton Rowing Club balcony.
- The final will start at the 1st Jetty south of the Claudelands Bridge and end at the southern end of the Hamilton Rowing Club Balcony
- The races will begin with rolling starts
