Club information and History
Hauraki Plains Junior Soccer club was established in the 1984 and was incorporated as a society in 2013 . We are affiliated with WAIBOP (Waikato Bay of Plenty Football) and NZ Football.
The club is guided by a Governance Committee that abides by its governing documents and incorporated society rules.
2023: The Club decided to change their name to Hauraki Plains Football Club ahead of their 40th anniversary celebrations. Due to road closures of state highway 25 the juniors played in the Waikato Junior Leagues for the 2023 season.
2024: Saw the club fielding its first Senior Mens team in the Waikato Senior Mens Division 4 League and three Under 10 teams in the Thames Valley League. 103 players were registered within 9 teams. Our First Kicks teams joined their first ever First Kicks Cluster with Te Aroha, Thames and Paeroa clubs.
Our purpose
- To promote, encourage and develop soccer int he Hauraki District in a fair and just manner in accordance with the rules of the game and the guidelines and framework as set out by New Zealand Football.
- To assist in the development of sportsmanship and community spirit through involvement in the game of Soccer.
- To assist in the development of our players skill development, self-confidence, sense of team and overall personal development.
