We are reaching out to members of our current and past school community with a very special opportunity - to help make magic at Havelock North High School.

Havelock North High School has a long and proud history of excellence in the arts. We are also noted for our academic and sporting achievement, and often offer our school as a venue for community events, ceremonies and meetings.

As you may be aware, the school has embarked on a project to completely overhaul our dilapidated auditorium. Building work on a modern, elegant 250-seat auditorium to amply meet the requirements of a contemporary school and community begins in 2024. This beautiful space will include theatre-style seating, a reception and foyer area, large stage and state-of-the-art acoustics that will, I am certain, do our school and community proud.

SPONSOR A SEAT IN OUR NEW AUDITORIUM

Largely, this project is funded by the Ministry of Education, but with the delays of the pandemic, along with rising building costs, we find ourselves facing a $500,000 budget shortfall.

To help us raise some of the funding required to proceed with these exciting plans, we are now offering, for a limited time, the opportunity to sponsor a seat in our brand new auditorium.

Each seat can be sponsored for a tax deductible donation of $1000.

Your name, a student’s name, company name, or other wording of your choice (subject to space and school approval) will feature on a plaque mounted on the rear of each seat. Or, you may choose to sponsor an entire row – a fitting representation of your ongoing support of our wonderful school and its rich talent.
