The Hawea-Wanaka Pony Club was formed in 1957. It is a branch of the Central Otago Pony Club, which is part of the Otago Southland Pony Club Area. Through this we are affiliated with the NZPCA—( New Zealand Pony Club Association)

Rallies are held regulary August to May at the Hawea Domain, 87 Domain Road, Hawea Flat. Members have a mix of ridden rallies with at least one theory and horsemanship rally a month over the season. For an updated schedule of rallies, please visit our website at www.haweawanakaponyclub.com.

All of the members are working towards their NZPCA certificates.
Pony Club is held from August to May with a break over winter.
