100 YEAR CENTENARY

Please join us to celebrate 100 years of Hinuera Rugby & Sports!

We kick off the weekend on Friday 26 April with a Welcome Evening starting at 4pm. Here you can pick up any preordered merchandise (on your registration form), enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival while catching up with old friends. Our Hinuera Honeys women’s team take to the field at 5pm, then our Hinuera U21 team at 7pm.

On Saturday 27 April we will have our formal lunch starting at 10.30am. You will receive a complimentary drink on arrival, enjoy a seated meal while we stroll through the history of our community club, and annoucing our ‘club team’ of each decade. There will also be a presentation of the Centenary playing jerseys to our senior teams before the Senior B game gets underway at 1pm, while the Senior A team will lick off at 2.45pm.

Saturday evening brings about our Roaring 1920s Party, from 6.30pm. Wind the clock back 100 years and dance the night away with The Monroes band. You will receive a complimentary drink on arrival, with supper available later in the evening. There will be limited edition jersey auction.

To finish off the weekend, we have our Sunday Funday from 10.30am. A barbecue brunch with a Quad Bowls Tournament at the Hinuera Bowling Club and a Not So Fast Five Netball Tournament on our netball court.
