Mission Statement

Hillsborough Junior Athletics Club Inc (HJAC) aims to provide a supportive environment that develops the athletics skills of children aged 2 - 14 years.

Children are divided into two sections – Junior (2-6 years old) and Senior (7-14 years old). The two sections recognise the difference in the physical development and capabilities of growing children. Although the activities are different, the objectives of both sections remain the same:

  1. To encourage the children participate in athletics activities and have fun

  2. To challenge children to do their best and reach their potential with the full support of parents/caregivers

  3. To provide skills and coaching for children (and parents)

  4. To encourage participation in both HJAC club nights and external events
